SPLASH PAGE (0/10 pts)
Eekers! lol. I really don't understand your splash page. Is it actually a Forbidden error? Is it a joke? hmm. Well...I have to scroll down to the bottom to even find a link to enter...which says "Caught'Ya", leading me to believe that you actually put that there yourself. Why o why? People (like myself) are going to take one look at this page and click out because they think its real...you'll get no visitors! And I'm sure you want visitors...as most sites do. I'd suggest just abandoning the splash page alltogether, since splash pages are pretty pointless anyway.
LAYOUT AND DESIGN (20/55 pts)
Whew thats better. A layout. lol. Unfortunatly, its not the best layout. Its just a picture...with "OMFG She's Back". No colors or design or anything. Bleh. It at least needs some color...and more effects for the image. Your site name on the main image would also be nice so I know the name of your site. Also, try and make the links hover on a different color to give your site more...pizazz. lol. One thing I will give you though...your layout is very organized with the two columns so you're on the right track. The fansite you run thats hosted on my site has a pretty good layout so I know you can make a better one for this site as well. =)
CONTENT AND ORGANIZATION (17/30 pts)
Everything seems to be organized very efficiently in your sidebar (I like how you used song titles and such for your navigation...very creative)...but your content needs some adjustment.
For your "me" page, you
need to have some sort of biography...preferably at the top. With the exception of the surveys, the other links you have are more writings than anything thats actually about you. And it seems that you already have a link for your writings called "Paperback Writer" so it shouldn't be repeated in this section. The surveys are ok but they don't really give sufficient information about you and people don't tend to read surveys...especially when they see a list of 10! lol. Try to think of some more original content you could use for your "me" section...or the visitor will leave not knowing much about you. =/ I also don't understand the "i@" thing at the bottom. (?). It just links with your last survey. Also, why does every page open in a different window? Each page should have the layout on it, or there would be no purpose for a layout. lol.
Your picture collections are nice. But I'm not sure why you have a list of things and then all but one of them crossed out. If they're not up yet, then they probably shouldn't be on the page in the first place...or at least put a "coming soon!" type of thing next to it.
I enjoyed the fact that you have a whole section devoted to your writing. Personal portfolios with writing or art are always a nice touch for websites and portray originality. Of course, I wasn't able to view any of the stuff on your "reviews/feelings" section because they were all broken links. eek!
The stuff in your "The End" page is pretty much the same as the bottom of your sidebar. I would like to see a "site" page that tells the history or you site, past layouts, a credits page, etc.
CODING, BROKEN LINKS, ETC (0/5 pts)
I keep getting errors when trying to check your coding validation. Probably cause your site is on Geocities...I'd suggest getting hosted when you fix it up a bit (I'll even host you if you like. =) However, coding isn't (and shouldn't be) you main priority right now...you have other things to work on like your layout and content.
Your site doesn't open at all in Internet Explorer by the way. =/ The geocities page just comes up (in symbols none the less). Aarg!
TOTAL (37/100)
I'm sure your site can improve a whole lot...it has potential. lol. Just try and organize your content better and be more creative with your layout...and most importantly make sure its viewable (get rid of the "Forbidden" splash page and see whats going on with it in Internet Explorer).
Feel free to apply for a re-review at any time after you've improved it a bit. =D
