FIRST IMPRESSION (8/10 pts)

Very clean, simple, and organized which is good. An iframe with nice calm colors...I like it. =) Simplicity is definately the way to go.

LAYOUT AND DESIGN (48/55 pts)

I visited your site yesterday and noticed that you've changed you layout since then. All I have to say is...good job! lol. I didn't really like the other layout...I thought the color scheme didn't match and a lot of stuff just wasn't right, but this one is great! There may be that lack of variety with the colors as you mention, but for some reason is really works with your website.

Some suggestions: Ok...this is the one thing that drove me insane when viewing your site. Change the link colors!! lol. The whole layout has a nice neutral theme, then the links are bright pink. Ahh! I'm not sure if you just forgot to change it from your last layout, or if you actually like it that way (which I hope you don't haha). Try using this color: #95898D. It might also look better if your top main links weren't underlined. Also, whatever font you used in your header for the top text doesn't look too great. It looks like it was a small bitmap font, but it was made bigger or something. lol. Looks too pixelated. A nice script font would've worked great.

CONTENT AND ORGANIZATION (23/30 pts)

Your content is very organized in the top link section so great job there. Your "Stephanie" page is very thorough...you give a lot of information about yourself, as well as your background as a poet which is very interesting. You might want to make a separate link called "www" though...because the the "admired sites" link you have in this section doesn't really seem to belong under the "stephanie" category. Also, you should probably retitle your "Website History" link to something like "Background as a webdesigner" because I originally thought it was just information about this particaular site and was going to suggest it go in a "site" section.

Yes! A writings site =) I love websites that have original content like writings or music or art instead of the same old drab. I really like "Rosette Rapture" because my favorite color is pink. hehe. The imagery in "Waterfall" is beautiful. "There's Hope in Simplicity" is extremely touching <3. I loved "Happy Birthday" as well....hell I love all of it! lol. This is making me want to add the poetry section back up on my site.

Your "visitor" section has unique content as well having to do with writing and writing reviews and such. Its very clean and straitforward. Great job here =)

You should make some of the links in your extras section part of a "site" section. Also, the "other" stuff you have in the extras section could probably go under a "www" section with the "admired sites" link in your first section.

You really don't need the "plugboard" link at the top as it is already in your visitor section...hopefully it shouldn't be that important. lol.

CODING, BROKEN LINKS, ETC (3/5 pts)

You have 11 errors at the W3.org validator. Thats not too bad though (I managed to fix up 109 errors on my site! eek. lol). I checked your CSS validation and you have a few errors there. They're mostly the same thing though so its not a huge deal. No broken links from what I can tell. =) Your site is also perfectly visable in both Firefox and IE.

TOTAL (82/100)

Overall I definately enjoyed your site...mostly because of the uniqueness of the content, which seems to be the main focus of your site rather than the layout. If you would like to do more with your layout I suggest you download some kind of graphics program (such as Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop). There weren't any major errors...just try to fix some of the content organization up and the link colors. Other than that, great job =)
