FIRST IMPRESSION (9/10 pts)
Beautiful layout. Yay a design portfolio =) I love digital art and looking at other's designs. Text is a bit tiny though.
LAYOUT AND DESIGN (45/55 pts)
I see you have a different layout with each of your pages. I'm not a huge fan of different layouts on one site, but with you site it seems to work for some reason. =P Your main layout is gorgeous...the crease in the middle almost makes it seem like a book being opened. I'm not entirely sure though if the brown color matches the layouts for the links, perhaps a dark green? Your About Me layout is nice...nothing really grabbed my attention about it though, but it gets the job done =) The Photographs layout is lovely...makes me want to go to the beach! haha. The Designs layout is nice and simple and showcases the work you've made. And the Links page is nice and simple as well...different style than the other layouts but I love the little paisley background you used.
CONTENT AND ORGANIZATION (25/30 pts)
4 pages of content...first is your "about me". I'm a lonely/only child too! haha. Doesn't it suck? =/ I also write lyrics...and often have the problem of non-inspiration. Mispelling though: "repative" should be "repetitive". I have friends who are all kinds of obsessed with the O.C lols. I like it too...but probably not to their level. On to the Photography page...beautiful photos =) I'd highly suggest adding some sort of "back to home" link at the bottom though...because its very hard to get back to the main page after having to go back through each image. Your Designs are lovely =) Though it says that in Firefox they will open in a new window...I'm using Firefox now and its still the same window =/ Your Links page is nice and basic...small structure but very cute. I'm not sure how I feel about music on each page (in general I'm not a huge fan of having music on pages). If it were all one layout it might be a little better because visitors may not spend much time on each page so they'll keep having to change songs. haha. (I'm guessing they're different songs...my audio is not on right now =p ) But thats just personal preference.
CODING, BROKEN LINKS, ETC (3/5 pts)
I ran your site's coding through the
W3C Validator and there appears to be some errors (11). Since there is no indication on your site of you having validated it, I'm assuming that you haven't. =p Since theres only 11 errors (mostly having to do with music) I'd suggest you fix them up and get your website validated =) When I was validating my coding, I had over 200 errors to sift through. hahaha. So 11 is definitely much better.

Overall, lovely site. You have some really great designs! Not a huge fan of the multiple layouts and music, but its mainly my own preference doesn't take away at all from the quality of the site. Keep up the great work Melissa!
