FIRST IMPRESSION (8/10 pts)
Aw what an adorable baby! =) Besides his cuteness though, the layout lacks some things...mainly a variety of colors. Maybe if you had made the background color something other than white? A gray would look nice.
LAYOUT AND DESIGN (43/55 pts)
As I said above, try a different color for the background. The content tables of a site and the background color they're on should never be the same. Also, Making your links rollover to white so that they kind of disappear isn't that great of an idea, try using the orange color that you used in the star of your layout for the link rollover color (#F97138). By doing this, you are adapting some kind of color scheme as well. Working with color schemes can help your site's look improve drastically. Try
Colour Lovers.com for some great colors and palettes. =) Also, you should try adding some more brushes to your layout/header (or future layout). Not too many as too look cluttered and tacky, but just a few to bring out your site's design.
CONTENT AND ORGANIZATION (18/30 pts)
You have pretty much the standard site content. Maybe a blog though? There's a lot of great blogging programs out there (I love
Cutenews). Lots of great info on your about me page. I love the Ryder page too =) Adorable!
You probably need more content in your "you" section...there's not too much to keep a visitor occupied. hahaha. Perhaps some reads, tutorials, etc. Your site section is pretty straitforward as was the "exit" section.
Overall, your content was pretty blah...nothing too spectacular/unique (except maybe teh Ryder page). Maybe try thinking of some original and creative content for your site...things you've written etc.
CODING, BROKEN LINKS, ETC (2/5 pts)
It doesn't seem like you've really gotten into the whole html validation thing...as there are 37 errors. lol.
here are your results. I was not able to find an external CSS stylesheet, it seems you are just editing the style directly from the page or header. I was able to find the external CSS code though: <link rel=stylesheet href="style.css" type="text/css"> but when I tried to view http://www.erin.purrmeow.net/style.css is it said it didn't exist. lol. There's a couple broken links on the index page...well only one is broken (the "credit" link within the paragraph is...the url is missing a second "r") and the "here" within the paragraph leading to the contact page only leads to the index page again.

Overall it was a pretty okay site. Nothing really grabbed me or jumped out at me though. Its just needs a bit more of everything. =P Definately try and use more colors and designs. A layout can be creative while still keeping its simplicity =)
